Who we are
Trading Smart X ("we", "us") operates tradingsmartx.com, the website for an AI-powered options research tool currently in private beta. This policy covers this website only. The Trading Smart X app will have its own terms and privacy notice when it launches.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist
- Your email address.
- Technical details sent with the form: IP address, approximate country (from Cloudflare), browser type and version, language, timezone and screen size.
- How you found us: the page you signed up on, the referring website and any campaign tags in the link (for example
utm_source). - Security signals from Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a bot, submitted the form.
When you browse the site
- Analytics, unless you opt out: Google Analytics records pages viewed, time on page, device and browser type, approximate location and how you arrived. It uses cookies (see below).
- Security and delivery: our host and Cloudflare process your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. This happens for every visitor and doesn't depend on cookies.
- Market ticker: the price ticker asks our own server for public stock prices. It sends no personal information.
We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. The site and product are intended for adults.
How we use it
- To run the waitlist and send you an invitation and launch updates. Basis: your consent when you sign up.
- To prevent spam and abuse, for example rate-limiting repeated signups from one IP address. Basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
- To understand and improve the site with aggregated analytics. Basis: our legitimate interest in improving the site. You can opt out at any time.
We don't use your information for automated decisions that affect you, and we don't build advertising profiles.

Analytics is on by default. You can reject it, or change your choice, at any time with , which is also in the footer of every page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of analytics.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site, under their own privacy terms:
- Cloudflare: content delivery, security and Turnstile bot checks.
- Our web hosting provider: stores the website and waitlist records and sends the signup emails.
- Google: Google Analytics (unless you opt out) and Google Fonts, which loads the site's fonts and receives your IP address.
- Yahoo Finance: our server requests public market prices. No visitor data is sent.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and users. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we don't "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by California law.
Some of these providers process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, they use legal safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist records: until the waitlist ends or you ask us to delete them. Afterwards we delete them, unless you've become a customer.
- Rate-limit data: a hashed IP address, kept for about an hour.
- Analytics data: for the period set in our Google Analytics account, no longer than 14 months.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Waitlist records are stored outside the public web folder and are only reachable by us. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect and who can access it.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct it or delete it;
- stop using it, or withdraw your consent (this doesn't affect anything done before);
- take you off the waitlist. Every invitation email also includes a way to unsubscribe.
Email [email protected] with your request. We'll answer within 30 days and won't treat you differently for using these rights. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell waitlist members by email.
